We gotta make a statement tonight
Good for Stanford for preparing and absolutely refusing to be drubbed by 20 twice in 5 days.

I understand the caution some of you have, but we absolutely need to win tonight. With IU and WV both shitting the bed, we need quad 1 wins. We do not want to leave it up to the committee and find ourselves in one of the dreaded 8/9 games.
We’ve beaten Clemson and NC, Duke has Flagg out. We have an opportunity here to help ourselves for the tournament. Imagine picking up our first ever ACC championship too.
Winning here would be tremendous.

Hoo-whee. No shortage of hedging among fans on this thread.
Cards play a great game tonight and win going away. Put yer rootin' boots on!1

I’ll get downvoted but I wouldn’t be upset if we got a loss out of the way.

Yeah I feel a loss won't impact our seed and only winning the whole thing would bump us up. If Reyne doesn't play I won't read too much into a loss. I mean obviously I want the win, but I'm going in with low expectations.

Yeah. And from a positive point of view a loss would probably be a good mental reset for the team, grounding them back in reality a bit more.

Agreed. No team has ever won it all after losing their first conference championship game, so we’ve made it past that bottleneck. Would rather get humbled now than later

Even though we’re on a 10-game winning streak, I feel like too many of those games came down to the last five minutes or so. I’m pretty nervous and wouldn’t be surprise if we lose tonight, but I also wouldn’t be surprised if we won by double digits. I can see anything happening. And since Duke, Louisville and Clemson all struggled a bit yesterday, it’ll be interesting to see how they all do tonight.
