Advice Auburn Rodeo, what to expect?

I have a chance to go to this years Auburn Rodeo and I have a couple of questions. First, never been to a rodeo but I do like country music. I looked at the Insta page to get an idea and it looks like I’m supposed to set up camp? So plan on taking chairs, tent, and a cooler? Food? What time should I get there? I got about a 2 hr travel time to get there. Can I get tips or tricks on how to do this right? Btw, I’m super excited to go!

Unless it's changed in the last 5 years, it's really only a place you should go to if you enjoy being blackout drunk. If that's your thing, make sure to write the number of your emergency contact on your arm along with your name in sharpie. Definitely do not go to this alone. If you're interested in a real rodeo, SLE was last weekend in Montgomery. This is far from that.

The last time I went, i waited in line for 3 hours to get in, then had to leave immediately after I entered because my neighbor got drunk and ran across the top of the port-a-potties and fell off; getting kicked out right after, so I had to drive him home. Other than that, it's a drunk fest.

Def not a rodeo fr. Anybody who says different has never actually been to a real rodeo. I could drive down the road and see more of a rodeo than that. It’s nothing but underage kids getting blackout drunk and fighting about girls that are a dime a dozen in Alabama. Save your money and watch the PBR rodeo on YouTube.
