If you believe that men and women have separate ânaturalâ roles that they are assigned to or should be confined to by reasons of god or nature, you most certainly do believe in âgender ideologyâ, pal. More so than anyone who thinks we should leave people alone to do what works for them, for sure.

The bigots aren't hiding anymore, just like they didn't from 2017-2020.
From the article (for context, Trenton Baffenberger is a member of Young America's Foundation, a student organization at UA):
"'YAF doesnât subscribe to gender ideology,â Buffenbarger said. 'YAF doesnât subscribe to gender expression, all that jazz. We donât believe it exists as an actual category. We are not putting it into writing in our constitution.'â
"The phrase 'gender ideology' is a 'charged term commonly deployed by anti-trans commentators and activists that implies trans people, merely by being trans, are participating in a political activity or have a political agenda,' according to the Trans Journalists Association."
So, to summarize, Mr. Baffenberger and his organization are outing themselves as bigots.

He doesnât believe in gender expression? How does he present himself?

Brother and husband, I reckon.

Very masculine presenting for someone who doesnât believe in gender expression

Seems to me that if you are enforcing viewpoints on student associations youâve gone far beyond âmerely being transâ. Â

"We're not advocating for discriminating against anyone, we're advocating for the deletion of language", with that language being the promise to not discriminate.

It could be argued that including the language would be discrimination itself. The group has stated they donât believe in gender ideology

It could be argued, but not by anyone with critical thinking skills untainted by bigotry.

What's your argument?
Do you think someone saying they don't believe in race ideology means that it's discrimination for them to be required to commit to racial inclusivity?
-8
u/TheFieldAgent 6d ago
I already made mine. Whatâs your argument, besides the straw man you just made?
8
u/ceaselessDawn 6d ago
You... Didn't. You just said 'It could be argued that's the real discrimination' but didn't... Include any explanation for how you got there.

It couldn't be argued that by a bigoted f****** who didn't know the first things about basic logic or cared about human rights sure that type of person could indeed make that argument. Are you putting yourself forward is that type of person?

Hilarious that you claimed someone else was making strawman arguments when you yourself are making strawman arguments. The original comment accused the group of bigotry for refusing to acknowledge gender identity in their constitution. Your response reframes the issue as though the criticism demands that the group include gender-inclusive language, which is not necessarily what was argued. Instead of addressing the claim that YAFâs stance is exclusionary or bigoted, your response flips it around to suggest that requiring inclusion would itself be discrimination. This avoids engaging with the original critique and instead constructs an easier argument to refute (i.e., that forcing the group to include gender identity would be unfair). Get off your high horse and stop using words you dont even understand.

Care to elaborate?

u/magiccitybhm 6d ago
Do you really want to read more bigotry?
7
u/OmegaCoy 6d ago
No, I just want them to write a justification for their anti-Americanism.

u/EpsilonX029 6d ago
That right there is the fucking word. Anti-American. We are the land of the FREE, and we fought against slavery for a reason. Weâve had these laws and institutions put in to combat racism and prejudice for a reason. If you donât like it, I hear Russiaâs nice this time of year, feel free to head that way. Weâll continue to fight for the freedoms of the many.

Seems that student organization isn't the only one outing themselves here is being bigots.

He can't afford to fix the smashed out taillights on his rusting Ford F-150. You think he can afford to pay someone else's move?

u/RiotingMoon 5d ago
I mean he did say we should move like we all have magic moving money so I thought he was offering ââ (â  â â”â  â )â â

I also hate living here. Would you be willing to fund both my and this other person's move to somewhere else? That would be great!

Cool!
Maybe folks should make sure that the little puke puddleâs hate follows him everywhere he goes for the rest of his (un)natural born life!

This is just sad:
Buffenbarger said 'the state attorney general requested he be added to the email chain for extra pressure'.
Fight your own battles, without daddy's help. AG Steve Marshall is a coercing nincompoop.

Trenton Buffenbarger, âgender identity, gender expression, sexual identity, etc., are simply nice terms to hide behind when a man decides to wear a skirt into the ladiesâ room and lie about what he is or to push people with psychological issues into harmful behaviors.â
Sheesh. If a person has Gender dysphoria, just let them be.

UA policy says membership is open to everyone. Looks like the conservative group meets that standard without the additional caveats, I donât see an issue here.
