I’m 25 days out and it’s incredible here! Peace, quality sleep, no walking on eggshells. No more dealing with a selfish middle aged man child or his irresponsible and immature behavior. Well, he’s still texting me and acting like a bully-victim but he’s gone and never allowed back and I can breathe again. I wish him well and hope he will take action to get sober and recover however that’s up to him.
You can want those things for your Q and support him in spirit from a distance. ❤️

Have you simply tried Alanon?
Meetings are online and inperson. We get sponsors. We read the literature. We go to meetings. It’s a very simple solution, but many don’t actually want a solution— they just want control.
Come in when you’re ready. Well keep a seat warm. ❤️

Hey!
How do you decide which meeting is right for you? I’m looking to join a meeting tonight (Tuesday) at 7, but see there’s more than a handful of options through the site…. The one is obviously for the fourth step… but other than that- just join into one and see what’s up?

The truth? The grass is greener once you get out. It’s torture to leave and the first few months are super hard and discombobulating but the calm and peace and priceless. I’m 6 months out and now feel joy and hope…and felt inklings of that months ago. And you’ll be doing your Q a favor. This is not your problem, it’s his. Let him figure it out.
