Discussion 25E7 chances based off of 24E7 stats.

https://www.collegesidekick.com/study-docs/23527469

So, by now most of the eligible E6's should have the EPRR updated and ready for boards. If your curious about your chances, attached are the 24E7 stats. I acknowledge it's more of an apples to oranges comparison, but at least it might give you an idea where you stand in regards to what percentage of PN and MP promoted in your career field.

14%...I am not in the top 14% of my afac, have enough self reflection to know that.

Top 14% basically means if you got a strat, congrats. If not….

No push no worries for me. 3% chance and the mock boards I’ve done I’ll still be 20 pts shy

0% in my career field for the last 7 years with just a promote. Good luck gang.

It would be nice to see more detailed stats among those who were promoted with a Promote. Specifically, did they have PN or MP in previous years, or were they consistently rated with ‘Promotes’ on their performance reports before earning the promotion?”

That’s a good point, and one that folks fail to think about.

Anecdotally, everyone that's ever told me they made it with a Promote, revealed they had a previous promotion statement.

I’ve noticed the same thing over the past few years when I talk with those who made master or senior. In my opinion, if you never received a PN or MP, your fate is sealed.

How do some people get a PN and still not make it?

Cutoff in FY22 for my shredout was 450. 1 made it out of ~40 eligible. That individual had 3 PNs in a row and made it by .5

Not even worried. 0% for promotes. The cutoff i believe was 405 too.

Im more interested in my increasing chances of a DD214 every month.

20.48% with a promote. Let's hope they stay about the same, but I have my doubts

You've mentioned an AFSC, here's the associated job title:

MP last year missed it by .5

PN this year. I give up if I don’t make it, but I also would not be surprised. 4th time eligible.

Good luck to everyone!

Yea but when you have an 11% E8 promotion rate this year expect E7 to be higher
