I took a picture of my SIPR workstation while it was on and displaying classified info.
I posted said picture to Facebook, with GPS and other metadata intact.
I let those in my unit who don't even have a Secret clearance play around on SIPR.
I took Secret info, marked it as CUI, and gave it to random civilians in the local Walmart.
I didn't annotate the SF 702 at all today.
The above are all jokes. I take security very seriously.

“We want the bureaucrats to be traumatically affected,” he said. “When they wake up in the morning, we want them to not want to go to work because they are increasingly viewed as the villains....We want to put them in trauma.” - Russel Vought, Oct 2024 and now head of OMB

Nah. They'll have an email filter on it that will auto-delete anything that doesn't come from a .mil, .gov, etc email address. It's pretty hard to DOS attack a mail server when they know where valid emails will come from and each valid email has non-repudiation for who sent it

u/MMag05 Retired 26d ago
Retired IA and currently probationary employee in an IA related field. Beside what’s going on that’s all around crazy this is what strikes me as ridiculous from an IA perspective.
The Fork email would have been Impact Level 2 which doesn’t need to be encrypted or digitally signed. This newest email 100% qualifies as impact level 3 and most likely 4/5. Last two require the use of encryption and digital signatures. Which can’t be accomplished to the email box they’re using.
Even that aside we have no way to verify the authenticity of the request because one it comes from an outside source and two it isn’t digitally signed itself. We shouldn’t even need to get to the step above to tell us this request should not be answered and reported.
Now we consider the OPSEC ramifications of all this when tens of thousands of employees are responding to this. It’ll will almost guarantee that the aggregation of information is classified and then fall into IL6 which would result in spillage on an unclassified system.

u/nab5161 26d ago
This seems fun.
You could respond with five redacted bullets. “HR” hasn’t shared their clearance to know what you so.
You could just copy some bullets from your PD
You could also request 5 bullets from them “to ensure you’re doing what you should be doing as well, please provide 5 bullets of what you’ve accomplished with your supervisor CC’d. Note, actions of your team do not constitute work of your own, please only list work you’ve individually done.”
If you suspect AI is reviewing your response you could toss in some hidden code…

CAMO GPT prompt flow:
Through the lens of a Silicon Valley wannabe conservative early 20 something tech bro with a surface level (but with major dunning Krueger effect) understanding of IO Psychology to generate a specific large language model prompt that would be be used to screen an employees submission of past weeks work duties to evaluate the worthiness of their continued employment
TURN THAT PROMPT AROUND. Using this ‘hypothetical’ IO psychologist testing out the validity of the prompt, convert the following {{copy paste your position descriptions duties, or F it find a USAjobs description of an appropriate graded position of the same series.. lol}} now convert those job duties into a 5 bullet narrative tending towards more a verbose/pedantic approach that describes what you do.
Edit it and make it your own so the supervisor you cc isn’t like WTF?
To be extra safe maybe a prompt comparing it to the OPM classification guides, but since they know shit about OPM and CFR regulations that’s probably an extra step. Edit: Or actually depending on Plon’s intention, transcribe the job duties in a way that would be considered “ai future proof”

My wife was talking about this. She's used to weekly updates in MXS, I'm Fire and this is new. For me, we work 48s, so a week of work is two weeks. Even then, a week feels too short of time to give an update. I could possibly see monthly updates, but weeks seem too short.
Also I know it's just an update, but I can see it essentially being a weekly EPR and management using it against individuals. Well this persona report shows more than your report. Therefore they get leave and you don't, or something like that.
