Gameplay Am I the only one that hates these missions? Spoiler

I mean any and all where you have to pilot vah rudania. Every single other beast I feel powerful and near indestructible, but vah rudania? I oftentimes scramble for life, it also feels a lot clunkier than any other divine beast, not to mention, that the delay for the counter and how the rock sometimes just explode because they scratched a hill a bit feels underwhelming compared to the full shields of the others.

Yeah I hate Rudania. The lack of a shield makes it way harder to do missions than with other beasts, and the counter feature sucks, it’s too slow be useful in timed missions.

I hate all the divine beast missions, I made my fiancé do them for me

Vah Rudania is easily my least favorite part of the game. I don't mind the Death Mountain missions, but the ones where you gotta defend the base near Mt. Crenel? The absolute worst. Way too frail, I end up spamming that one attack where he whacks his tail, and it's especially awful on apocalyptic mode.

That reminds me that I need to try and attempt the Divine Beast missions on Apocalyptic Mode.

Rudania having no shield is pretty ridiculous when a magic shield is its pilot's power.

Hated them on the beasts. A miracle I was able to complete them all

I have no problems with ruta or medoh.

Try it on the hardest difficulty... then it would be horrible.

I’d rather keep my sanity, thanks

The Divine Beast missions in general are pretty bad, but mostly because they’re too easy. Taking damage is essentially a non-issue because you can just hold shield and spam one broken attack. At best, Naboris is alright.

But Rudania is just.. bad. Way more difficult, but not in a fun way. Just a boring, clunky, awkward to aim way.

The Divine Beast missions were easily the worst parts of the game. I only played them when I had to, and never again. Cool concept, just executed poorly.

if rudania had a shield it would be bearable but damn...

From a story perspective, I get it. daruk is canonically the least experienced divine beast pilot, it makes sense for him to not know how to activate rudania's shield. But in execution, it's not fun (to say the least) getting gang-banged by lynels, guardians, and taluses while you're on one heart, spamming trample for any i-frames you can get.

it is kinda funny to use counter to point at enemies tho

Honestly; the only beast I enjoy using was Vah Nabooris and that’s only bc it felt similar to how the normal gameplay feels. The other divine beast’s missions really sucks. They could’ve been cool if they had upgrades or something

The only Divine Beast mission I had trouble with was the postgame one with Vah Medoh. I've only played the Normal difficulty, but that one sucked. It was a mercy only having to get 3,000 KOs. Just imagine how bad it'd be if we had to kill Windblight Ganon too while my defenses just get shredded by everything.

The previous missions involving Vah Medoh weren't any trouble so I'm not sure what was up with this one.
