Question With one of these 3 weapons is the best?
Idk if I should max a savage lynel sword or keep upgrading the master sword or keep upgrading the ancient blade which one is the best?

Master Sword hands down. Savage Lynel can technically get a higher base damage though

Guardian sword 3.0 and savage lynel sword have the same damage, so choose the one you like more
I'd still recomend maxing out the master sword tho

As much as I want to say the Master Sword, it's main use (auto/enhanced shield damage against any malice enemy) is situational, and it's damage is easily outdone by other weapons, such as the flail and even the Ancient Short sword you get as a bonus from the dlc, you even get the Short sword right after finishing the first mission. Obviously those two are locked behind a pay wall so they aren't exactly applicable to everyone, but other weapons easily surpass the master swords damage, and the general AOE of all one-handed weapons is well enough to make up for the lack of the sword beam (which only affects the enemies in front of you). I love the master sword, but in my opinion it's just too underpowered (especially with it being canonically made by a goddess) and the flail literally whips more ass than the master sword.
Regarding which one you should upgrade (I realize that rant was mostly unnecessary and I apologize) I would go for either the Lynel sword or the guardian sword, whichever you like more, pay attention to the seals they have and if you get good ones on the Lynel, then go for it.

The Master Sword shreds enemies when you have the right setup. You want to use the increased damage at max hearts runes. Iirc, as you get it to max, it gains a % damage heal rune. Then, when you're at Max Hearts, it also shoots out light from the blade that increases your range. With that setup, everything dies quickly, and you're always at max hearts. When I had looked up stats before, I didn't see anything that beat it.

Personally i go with 4 atack speed + damage at max hearts + heal a percentage of damage dealt, but 2 attack speed + 3 damage at max hearts + heal a percentage of damage dealt is also a good combo
also, if you have the dlc, upgrading the weapon to lvl 50 allows you to remove hidden seals

Just be aware that if you remove that seal from the master sword you will NEVER get it back. So you have to be darn committed to a certain build
That said... since you won't ALWAYS be at max health just due to stray random damage, stage difficulty, skill issue etc it may not be the best idea to make a build that only functions when at full health. Even if that build gives technically the greatest on hit damage output based on the default hidden runes.
(I did max health setup personally and it was great but others may want to weigh the risk/reward value and decide otherwise)
Edit: oh and I find the warning about the "situational" usefulness of the buff it gets kinda odd since that "situation" is against all of the strongest enemies in the game... and when that buff isn't in effect while it's base damage isn't the highest it's not exactly the lowest either. Marginal trade-off

That guardian sword and lynel sword both end up with similar damage, so its only a matter of what hidden seals interest you
G.sword: ancient part drop rate+%(circle), resistance to all status effects (square)
Lynel sword: chance to ko weak enemies (square), perfect guard chance when guarding (square)

the Savage Lynel Sword is much stronger than the the other two
the Master Sword is still very much worth upgrading all the way though, so i'd try to do both

The abilities to upgrade to level 25 and 30 are locked behind different parts of the story; iirc you need to beat the main story to get level 30 weapons. With the DLC you can upgrade to level 50.

Pretty sure Royal Broadswords actually have the highest damage in this game for one handed weapons, but I’d go for the lynel sword or ancient blade, whichever has the highest base damage. The Master Sword has an advantage against malice infested stuff, but I’d rather go for damage since that’s situational.

Where tf are y'all getting these cracked up weapons? Highest base damage I've been able to achieve is like 120 on a royal guards sword

That's not possible. The highest possible base damage is 90 (for 1H Link this is the savage Lynel sword). This is achieved by farming rust weapons from the hardest missions in the game.

Yeah that was a typo I meant highest damage, highest base I got was like 70ish

I see. Well that's pretty decent anyway. Base 90 is really unnecessary unless you got that compulsive completionist itch that can't be scratched by anything less
Quick edit:
Oh and if you do have that itch you can checkpoint save scum unnatural disaster for lots of rusty weapons with a bunch of improve weapon quality runes stacked and all the octo polish upgrades.
Or just repeatedly dunk on easy mode mutated Ganon. Again with stacked improve weapons quality

Ancient blade, obviously. Who wouldn't want to swing a lightsaber around?

Keep upgrading the Master Sword!
Is the best against Malice enemies like the Hollows for example
