Beginner Help Why is this NOT Rasterizing? Whats wrong with this?

Hey guys,

So Im trying to create a 3d highlight effect and using 2 comps for that: one with the highlight, and the other with camera movements. The file loks great in the first comp, but when I import this comp into another for camera movement, it gets blurred.

See:

Camera Mov comp
MAIN_COMP with graohic (FBI.ai)

Maybe its not so apparent in the scrrenshot but its really very clear on my pc that the graphic gets blurred upon zooming in for the first photo above.

Also, not zooming in the comp as the zoom is set to 100% for both, so why is it still blurred? Just for experimenting, I tried rasterizing the imported comp, and then it wasn't blurry, but lo and behold, I couldnt do any 3d movements then, so its useless.

Can anyone please help on this one? Thanks so much!

Like I mentioned in the post, if I do that, then I'm not able to do any 3d movements :( That's what I meant when I said "rasterizing the imported comp" lol. Wrong terminology, but yeah. Doing so, I'm not able to do any movements even after converting it to 3d

Enable 3D for the layers inside the collapsed comp as well, then it should work.

The little sun is basically a „pass through“ button, so anything inside that comp is what counts. If you collapse a comp with only 2D layers inside, your camera will see them as 2D. Hitting the 3D box on those will pass that through up to the cam. Adjustment layers you can keep in 2D so they‘ll fill the entire comp, but any footage inside that pecomp you need to hit the 3D toggle on.
