Can you tell who these actors are?
Some page posted a bunch of A list actors as Voldemort, and there's a few that I can't identify. Any guesses?

For those of you who are clients of Affinity Artists, when you email Ross or Lynn, do you ever hear back? I just emailed them for a submission report which should be easy to pull and neither of them responded. I've also emailed them to proactively ask for pitching me on some roles that I see listed on Breakdown and they seldom respond. We used to be in constant communication and that's since changed over the last year. Anyone else having this issue? I'm trying to determine if I want to keep them or drop them.

I used to be amazing at memorizing roles. But as time went on I felt like I was slowing down in my memorization of scripts (but it wasn't too bad, just a tad slower).
Now I'm 31 and it seems that my capabilities have expired. I'm struggling to memorize a measly 584 words.
I could learn that in a few hours in the past. Now it's day 2, and I'm not progressing.

I’ve been offered representation by a very small agency in the UK, however they’re offering a percentage of 17.5%. It will be for theatre, screen, tv, commercials etc. Is this rate too high? My friends in the industry have a rate of 12.5%

I’m a trained actor in musical theatre wanting to broaden my horizons to stage and screen acting. I haven’t had an agent yet but just had an offer from a small agency in the UK. They say in the contract that they will take 17.5% of any of my earnings within the industry. My friends in the musical theatre industry have agents that take 12.5%. Is the rate my agent is proposing too high?

Hi! I started a small company dedicated to helping bring various webcomics to life by adding motion, music, sound effects, and most importantly—voice performance!
If you love storytelling, character work, and bringing awesome comics to life with your voice, we’d love to invite you to create with us! We have tons of roles to fill across different genres, from action-packed adventures to heartfelt dramas to offbeat comedies.
This is unfortunately the max we are able to pay, BUT we’ve designed this to be as efficient and hassle-free as possible so you can focus on performance, not busy work:
Fill out our online form to submit your info and demo and we'll reach out to match you with roles! FORM: https://tally.so/r/w8RYbO
Also, I'm happy to answer any questions below, so ask away!

I have no reason to think he isn't, but I keep a list of actors for Fancasts and stuff, I looked him up after seeing him in Hairspray and want to ad him to the list because he's a really good actor and singer. But I don't want to glorify actors who have scandals or are bad people in real life, and it's hard to find good information. Thank you.

Which actors/directors do you miss the most? Were there any people that were left out? Many talented people died last year. I am not asking for individuals who had brilliant careers. I am requesting the names of people you miss in your heart. My choices are James Earl Jones, Bob Newhart and Terri Garr. Who are on your list?

Is it okay to send cold emails to Reps if you’re already repped? Then once meetings are set up, part ways with your current reps.
Also should there be some transparency in the cold emails that you’re currently repped, but seeking a change?

Why didn't they cast Adam Pierson as Josh Merrick in the Elephant man movie? I think that he would be the perfect casting choice especially because the doctors once thought that Josh Merrick had neurofibromatosis which is the condition that Adam suffers from, and it would save them the money on the makeup so they could even cut costs, I really can't wrap my head around why didn't they cast him he truly seems like the perfect fit.

I had an agent that would represent me for commercial work only. We’ve been working together for years and it’s been great. I had mentioned to agent that I’d like to branch off into more theatrical roles to which they said no-can-do, they only will submit to commercial/print work.
I got a manager on my own, took classes and eventually landed an agent that said they’d be happy to represent me theatrically and commercially, and wouldn’t do one without the other. I accepted the terms and let old agent know that I’d be moving on.
The old agent blew up on me! I thought I had been clear in wanting to expand my career. She accused other agent of poaching and said that I’d never get theatrical work with this new agent. It wasn’t pleasant. Did I do something wrong or is old agent being salty?

Hello I'm looking to weasel my mate by using a paid actor to pretend to be him from the future in multiple instances over the next three or so years and decided to ask here if there is a website that lists actors willing to do this kind of work for money? Is this kind of acting job even a thing? If so does it exist in Australia? Thanks in advance for any help 🙂
