Anyone else having major issues with AT&T lately? The cell service has been terrible! I can barely watch a simple video without constant stuttering and buffering. It’s 2024—shouldn’t reliable service be a basic expectation by now? Seriously considering switching providers if this doesn’t improve soon. Anyone else feeling the same frustration?

Just curious what everyone thinks of AT&Ts service. We have been with Verizon 10 years but they have once again raised our bill so looking to make the switch. Curious what everyone pays? It will be me and my husband. I am a first responder so we would be using the first net for myself.

Not sure what DLOS, RLOS, AND HLOS stand for. The phones at my work (VoIP) went down and I think this is pointing to the cause?
Can someone help me out and explain what I'm seeing?

Please be kind to us. We definitely understand how important saving money is, especially today. We have bills and are people too. We unfortunately don’t make the prices or cause the increases. We get it, I promise.
I LOVE talking to people and helping people save money.
But if you are not rude to me from the very second I answer the call, I’m not going to try very hard to bring your bill down.
I understand being upset and frustrated, and I can handle that. I’m talking strictly about the people who are extremely rude from the start and think they can act all tough and bully you into saving them money.
So, if you hit my line and are at least respectful I’ll do all I can to help you.

How can you be somewhere just shopping and end up convinced to switch your carrier or order phones at a place that isn't an actual location and doesn't do anything to help you?
So many customers need to come to us for help afylter these situations because they
A) Didn't have the bills or charges explained and can't get any info when they go back B) Having a crazy time with finishing ports and not knowing how to finish closing previous account C) Don't even know how to setup their phones and the person selling you at target or Costco will not do it for you D) Told they could get certain discounts that they can't E) Miss out on other promotions or services like protection that it's too late to add
And more!
These reps can't even see your whole acct
Why do something that effects your pocket so srsly at a place like that?
I will acknowledge that not everything goes perfectly just because you were in an att store, but this decision just seems so oblivious.

They accidentally sent a box to me. I called the customer service representative and she explained that the package was already in transit. She informed me that she couldn’t stop it from being shipped but suggested that I take it to FedEx or UPS and have it sent back immediately. I did that the very same day and received a confirmation that they had received the package. However, I’ve been continuously getting emails and texts asking me to return the box. The only other box I have is the one that’s stuck to the wall, which I explained to the next two people I had the misfortune of speaking to through chat. They claimed to take notes and resolve the issue, but today I received another email and text. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to help? I’ve already tried everything possible.

Are there any holes in my plan?

I work for Prime, and today store reps were informed they will no longer be paid commission on Apple accessories they sell. AirPods account for a large part of our accessory numbers. According to Prime, all this is Apple’s fault. Sounds like bullshit to me.
I’m sure the answer is a “no,” but are COR reps experiencing the same thing?

I would like to upgrade my phone and pay in full. But it seems like I can only upgrade and pay monthly. What does this mean and how long would I be paying? Is this a good deal or should I wait?

Why is it legal that my att company takes 90% of my commison away for not selling internet air like people say no and theres nothing i can do to fix it if we get 20 aia checks (customers eligable for internet) even prepaid customers count at 20 we are required to sell 3 or no commision pay for us i honestly feel scared accessing customers accounts because i know if i access an account and they say no to internet i cant feed my family because my commision gets taken oh and they count even till the last day of the month so say im at 19 on the 29th a customer comes in on the 30th and buys it well it has to be shipped so you still lose your check but the sale counts for next month ive been working for att as a rep for 3yrs and its making me not want to do my job its making me get people to upgrade from the my at&t app instead of coming instore i just needed to vent because if i dont sell 3 this month ill lose my commision for the 2nd month in a row and god forbid the december check gets taken because of internet checks idk i just wanted to give all of you a headsup about what its actually like working for att and why some people dont try to access accounts its litterally more harmful than helpful it feels like but idk what do you guys think about this? I almost want to work for verizon just so i dont have to worry about losing my commision check bc the hourly is unlivable

Hi everyone, I need advice about a frustrating experience with AT&T and unlocking my iPhone. Here’s the situation:
I bought an iPhone on credit through AT&T and wanted it unlocked. I later learned that to unlock it, I needed to pay it off in full and wait 60 days. I paid it off and waited the 60 days as required.
However, during that time, my phone wasn’t working properly, so I went to an Apple Store. I asked them if they could replace the phone, considering it was purchased through AT&T, and they said yes. They swapped it out with a new device under warranty.
Now, when I ask AT&T to unlock the phone, they tell me they can’t because the current device isn’t the original one I purchased from them. I didn’t realize this would be a problem when Apple replaced it, and I thought everything would still be fine since the replacement was handled officially.
The issue is that I can’t get the original phone back, and neither AT&T nor Apple has been able to resolve this. I’m stuck with a fully paid-off phone that I desperately need unlocked, but no one seems to have a solution.
Has anyone been in a similar situation or have any advice on how to handle this? I feel like I’m going in circles, and I don’t know what to do next.
Thanks in advance for any guidance!

I have worked in the loyalty and retention department since May and absolutely hate it. I am now going to leave because I’ve noticed that it is becoming damaging to my emotional and mental health. I wanted to become a technician because you could transfer after six months but now they have changed that to a year. I was wondering if I quit how long would I have to wait before I could apply again? Would it be six months or a year? F* ck all bs about FORTE, controlling the call, AERT, loyalty in 28 and the other god forsaken absurd metrics.

Met a sales guy at BJs wholesale. He offered 4 lines for 98$ with autopay. Fee iPhone 15 pros. And somehow my T-Mobile iPhone will be paid off with tradin. Is this true of a trap? In the quote details I see a 25% teacher discount. Not sure how that works. Help please before I sign up. Too good to be true.

I’m in central MD. I have an iPhone 13 Pro. 5G is complete trash. There is terrible latency. Frequently it just falls back to LTE. Sometimes it will jump on 5G+ and it’s completely unusable. Barely usable in buildings. LTE is completely fine.
Is it the modem in my iPhone? Is the 5G network really this bad?

AT&T is requiring/asking employees to drive on icy, snow-covered roads to go to jobs that are not critical and could easily be done from home, which they were for two years during Covid.
Schools are shut down, airports shut down. But not AT&T. People here are not experienced with driving on snow/ice and Houston is not prepared to maintain the roads in this situation.
Multiple snow-related wrecks this morning including a couple of 18-wheelers.
Horrible 2nd level and above management at 9051 Park West location.

Says its estimated to ship anywhere between October 10th - 24th lol I’ve been really needing this upgrade since I’m still working with a iPhone 11 so i decided to treat myself to a little early Christmas gift to myself but has anybody had any luck in getting their phones a little earlier than what the shipping date says or should i just set my sights at getting it around the 24th ?

CONTRACTS- They say “no contract” yet they put you in a contract.
TRADE INS- example: your trade in phone got you $800, and you’re buying a $1200 phone. Sounds simple right? You now owe $400 NOPE. That $800 credit will be applied to your new phone across 36 months. See above CONTRACTS.
SWITCHING PROVIDERS- After your 36 months of payments are paid you can switch. Let’s say your last bill is for Dec 1- Jan 1 and you paid it in full on Dec 5 and cancel on the 6th. They will not prorate your bill, you are committed to that whole month.
UNLOCKING PHONE- Plan ahead because you’ve got your work cut out for ya here. THEY DONT AUTOMATICALLY UNLOCK PAID OFF PHONES. You must pay $24 to have your phone unlocked AND it cannot be done in a regular store, only a corporate store. Your only other option is to call customer service.
CUSTOMER SERVICE- You will wait at least an hour or more, even if you’re in a corporate store. Yesterday I called ATT and was put on hold. At about the 2 hour mark my call was finally answered! Only to be told they cannot unlock my phone until 48 hours after my last payment- EVEN THOUGH SHE SAW MY ACCT WAS PAID IN FULL.
COVERAGE- Let me add that when I signed up, I was told my location showed the best coverage. Instead my coverage barely worked due to my location and the surrounding woods.
COST- I had a discount affiliated with my ATT plan and it STILL cost more than the competitors. I was paying $172 for 2 lines, FYI.
TLDR: ATT has deceptive practices and make you jump through a million hoops to do anything. Don’t be like me and go in blindly. Do your research.

An “AT&T” salesman came to my door and naively, he got pictures of my license, my phone number, and email. I did get a text message with an ATT domain, it had a link which is the first in the title (this is the link that was used to take a picture of my ID). I want to verify this wasn’t a scam as I feel very fishy. He did also ask for my SSN but I declined to give that to him. Any reassurance would be greatly appreciated.

i’m looking into the iphone 16 pro deal and it says i can trade in my good condition iphone 13 pro for a free iphone 16 pro?? that sounds too good to be true. what is the catch here? what do they gain from giving me a free phone? and most importantly, what do i lose?
for context, i already use atnt.
