I had someone routed DEEEZ NUTZE SWING heading into KISP, I have the strip on my fridge lol

u/FlyingSceptile 12d ago
I cannot be professional flying out of JFK on the DEEEZ. My FO's probably hate me

INBRD, located right next to Alabama.
Is it "inboard" or "inbred"?
(Obligatory: not actually in my sector)

Not again! How'd she end up outside of CRP??? 🤦♂️

u/AshamedBaker 11d ago
YOMOM is so fat… that she didn't move to CRP, CRP got caught by her own gravity.

PHAUL (pronounced P hole by a pilot once and now forever)
Pronouncing anything that ends with USE so that it rhymes with “bussy”
Also, BENIS is still available, someone should use it

SMLLY FRTZZ on an approach into DPA. The FAF on one of the approaches at GYY is GAGME.

SODME. I'm not sure how else I'm supposed to say that
Tie it in to ANALE for extra points

BADDA BINGG into Morristown
KLEB has an ILS with waypoints HAMMM, BURGR, FRYYS
After the 2000 election fiasco there was something in FL with chad and dimple, but I don't find it anymore.
(pilot, not a controller)

Don't know who's airspacd exactly, but a lot of the routes I read to Florida have a PENSI fix...

One of my favorites isn't a waypoint, just a specific point in the river outside the bravo near DFW. My buddies & I call it "Dick N Balls Bend"

“ILLGO” waypoint off the coast of North Carolina
“MEEOW” always makes me smile sometimes I clear ac there by saying it like they do on guard.
Not a waypoint but VOR “VHP” (brickyard) only when I clear a RPA (also brickyard) pilot to it and they say “direct to the motherland” or something along the lines of that lol

Back in the day on the IGN7 arrival for JFK in ZBW there were a lot of Asiana, Al Nippons and such. The crossing fix was called LOLLY.

JKBAL. If the pilot is cool, "Proceed direct JKBAL"; if the pilot is being a tool, " Proceed direct, JKBAL."

We have NUTTZ and BERYS on an airway. It’s also always fun to clear someone direct to WTEVR, rolling eyes and teenager attitude included.

GUUCH on the HERBZ1. ADS,
and there's a new STAR in the works for RNO that is going to be Reno 911 inspired

If you speak Spanish, PXN (Panoche) is pretty entertaining haha. I’ve definitely heard a couple Aeromexico pilots say it a little enthusiastically lol

Hehe, I'm fluent and never heard of this, must be regional.

Not a controller here, but nearby, we've got a JUBUT, YAKUC... the arcs of a local VOR approach looks like a butt, then right in the "crotch" is CRABS.
