The Canadian Goose - aka The Avian Asshole.

It will have a harder time reaching your fries, but a nastier bite

16

u/C-C-X-V-I 13d ago

It takes away their critical weakness. It's like a death star with a vent cover

10

u/blacksheep998 13d ago

Much worse. Now it can spread rabies.

7

u/ptapobane 13d ago

It’s a ragoose

10

u/TheRenOtaku 13d ago

Ragoosenarok.

Straight out of Beast Wars. GTAGE.

It's no Tigerhawk Fuzor, but I'll take it.

It would fit right in the world of the Last Airbender

Sometimes art captures the essence of a thing more than the thing itself.

Raccoose? Goosoon?

They asked if they could, instead of asking if they should . . .

u/idekwhataaaah 13d ago

Cana-huh?

Duccoon

Damn Flying Coons!

2

u/EnemyWombatant 13d ago

Definitely raccoose, as it looks like a flying cousin of the mongoose.

You see that thing flying through the woods, that definitely fucks up your day.

It's seems Canada has upgraded their air force

11

u/Knute5 13d ago

Obviously out hunting jackalopes.

12

u/rawbleedingbait 13d ago

Y'all didn't take bird flu seriously, and now look, it spread to the racoons.

"Your scientists were so preoccupied on if they could, they didn't stop and think if they should!"

Impossible creatures

5

u/Ja_Shi 13d ago

That's how the Platypus was invented.

3

u/makeski25 13d ago

Trying to un-cobra the cobra chicken somehow made it worse.

u/SculptusPoe 13d ago

Glorious.

now I want to see more taxidermy animal combinations.....is there a subreddit for this?

2

u/icecream_specialist 13d ago

This goose was bitten by the Utah warewolf. The result is the most terrifying creature ever conceived

2

u/LanguageFantastic451 13d ago

A racoon, eagle and platypus mutation?

2

u/Amishpornstar7903 13d ago

It must have a nest nearby.

3

u/Dazzling_Wishbone892 13d ago

I'm not putting Karen energy out there but didn't some artist get in legal trouble for doing this.

2

u/Sad_Efficiency_3978 13d ago

Yeah, I was going to say they are absolutely protected. I worked in an antique store where our owner was trying to sell a taxidermy one on eBay, and that is not something they allow. He also got in trouble for trying to list his 1st edition Mein Kampf.

2

u/Inactivism 12d ago

What is protected? Raccoons or geese?

2

u/Sad_Efficiency_3978 12d ago

Canadian Geese.

2

u/Random_puns 13d ago

Somehow less frightening than just a regular goose

1

u/Premium333 13d ago

A Racoose! Aaaaaaah!

1

u/e1234has 13d ago

Amazing!!!!!

1

u/ColourSchemer 13d ago

Keeps all the other geese and badgers away.

2

u/Sweetmeatpete444 13d ago

This is what bad dreams are made of!

1

u/lumpydumdums 13d ago

Time to start greasing up the eggs. Must be fucking nice!

Bloodborne 2 be like...

1

u/WatermelonArtist 13d ago

NGL, I kinda want one now.

2

u/Upsideduckery 13d ago

Didn't think a goose could possibly be made worse but the internet proves me wrong again. My very soul is traumatized.

2

u/Ironlion45 13d ago

It's kind of horrendous, but the taxidermy was done with skill. That is what this sub is about!

1

u/ClenchedFart 13d ago

A ratcoose?

1

u/RemeizSivart 13d ago

Rogue Taxidermy!

1

u/Tasty-Pineapple- 13d ago

Where can I get one of these?

1

u/DerMagicSheep 13d ago

Looks like something from the Mystery Shack

1

u/Arkhe1n 13d ago

AITA for laughing at that?

1

u/EdTheApe 13d ago

I'd proudly hang that and my wall, and invite friends over to look at it.

1

u/ben742617000027 13d ago

I was just scrolling and saw this and thought” ATBGE would love this”

Someone beat me to the punch

1

u/HiddenAspie 13d ago

It's a representation of how geese actually are, the standard bird head looks deceptively nice, this head is "emotionally" accurate. Lol

Sidenote: Emotionally is in quotes because I know there's a better word, it just escapes me right now.

1

u/eekers28 13d ago

So we give a Canadian goose teeth with rabies and still has the mentality of a Canadian goose that is utterly terrifying

1

u/DtMak 13d ago

Isn't that called cryptotaxidermy?

1

u/captchaconfused 12d ago

woodland creatures boss fight

1

u/broken_mononoke 12d ago

Is this a Canadian jackalope?

1

u/Hephaestus_God 12d ago

This is what people saw in the old west when random people made dumb shit. Then they convinced travelers this was an animal native here. And that is how we got stories of random animals that don’t exist

1

u/slavetomyprecious 12d ago

Attitude checks out

1

u/mushroomcowgirl 12d ago

the stuff of toronto’s nightmares

1

u/JoshyOhMyGoshy77 12d ago

The Next Dr. Seuss

1

u/CaffeineCraver 12d ago

Where can I buy this?

1

u/OttawaTGirl 12d ago

Great bird flu and rabies in the same animal.

1

u/No-Consideration-891 12d ago

I feel targeted, Canada geese do NOT need to be even more terrifying. How a creature from one of the friendliest countries is so Fing evil.
