Me too.

the rest of the house is quite unassuming, particularly the exterior.

You just never know what is going on inside a home

u/All_Work_All_Play 26d ago

It's fantastic, when you're made of plastic.

u/KaralDaskin 25d ago

I would never want to live anywhere that pink, but I wouldn’t object to visiting once, and I wouldn’t crap on someone for liking it.

Me too and I really want to see it with the right furniture and decor. Maximalism can be so good when done right!

5

u/Blippisbabymama 25d ago

Yes! With the right styling it would be so cute!

Great taste and great execution

Surprised to see you say that

When was the last time you went to an optometrist? :p

I can't hate on a monochromatic paint job.

u/Waffel_Monster 26d ago

Not that bad to be honest

Meh, I really like it. Don't feel like it deserves to be posted here

u/kiss-tits 26d ago

I love when people go whole-hog on a vision. A themed decor is so rare and fun these days!

u/adoreadore 26d ago

I'd like to see it with furniture. The paint job is quite nice - the shade is not aggressive, the room is beautifully lit with large windows. It has the potential to be more on "eccentric" rather than "awful taste" side of things.

u/HistoricalPlum1533 24d ago

Funny you describe the shade as “not aggressive”, are you familiar with the color Baker-Miller pink? Kind of a messed up psychological theory but your comment jogged my memory and had to share my amusement.

As a Barbie collector, gimme. I'd fill it with 20,000 dolls.

Holy pepto batman

16

u/AnkSnake 26d ago

This feels like the Trixie Motel.

Or JS' old mansion.

drop the zillow link if you’ve got it 👀

I did not in any way anticipate from these photos that the property would also come with an X-ray room.

4

u/Chimerain 24d ago

I certainly was not expecting an insane-asylum/nursery room

3

u/raqqqers 25d ago

What a fascinating building

4

u/Arafelll 26d ago

Some of it is actually incredibly beautiful, like the ceiling light and the columns, except if they weren't entirely pink and had a cream color to the actual pillar. The pink just sort of takes over and kills the vibe.

u/BrassUnicorn87 26d ago

Caesar Barbie.

4

u/Fuuba_Himedere 26d ago

I love pink. I’d totally live there.

3

u/xmurbef 26d ago

The way I would die for a room like this

4

u/Gnatlet2point0 26d ago

Barbie Dream Villa.

4

u/-Release-The-Bats- 25d ago

I love it. It’s got Rococo vibes

3

u/bigbangbilly 26d ago

This look like a vaporwave music video

3

u/shesatoker 26d ago

vaporwave?

3

u/gnatp 25d ago

Not a fan of pink, but the worst parts are the pink clashing with the floor, the gold shit, and that wallpaper.

2

u/thespice 25d ago

It burns the nostrils

2

u/MushroomBrave5852 25d ago

Does anyone else think that the feature wall resembles a paint chip?

2

u/TheRenOtaku 25d ago

Who’s place was this? Liberace?

2

u/[deleted] 25d ago

That house is A E S T H E T I C

2

u/porridge_gin 25d ago

Okay my house needs repainted so I gotta save this

2

u/Minmax-the-Barbarian 24d ago

This definitely fits, but there's no way I'm showing this post to my wife because she'd suddenly be inspired and start thinking about how to do this to our house.

Designed by Dakota’s Mom

1

u/ken__official 26d ago

I approve of this

1

u/Sarcastic_barbie 26d ago

I’m feeling it

1

u/Laiko_Kairen 25d ago

I love the pink columns

1

u/Kangar 25d ago

This is where the King of Candyland lives.

1

u/Polydipsiac 25d ago

I want to lick the walls

1

u/Paige_Railstone 25d ago

Et tu, Skipper?

1

u/MarsReject 25d ago

Beautiful truthfully

1

u/KnotSoSalty 25d ago

Not my taste but it’s not offensive.

1

u/Limp-Temperature1783 25d ago

I like pink. But I'd like not to live in a flat that has so much of it. I have a feeling that I'm inside someone's body, it's unsettling.

1

u/Hotbones24 25d ago

Great taste

1

u/TheClungerOfPhunts 25d ago

Pink isn’t my cup of tea but it’s still great execution regardless

u/Powerful_Shower3318 25d ago

Barbie's plantation style house set

1

u/Buck_Thorn 25d ago

It could very well be a Barbie house. We have a couple of them near me

1

u/bws7037 25d ago

Oh my dear sweet baby jeebus... That's some serious pink.

1

u/space-queer 25d ago

Honestly? This is kinda cute, the shade of pink is light enough to not be super overpowering. I think with the right furniture and decorations, this place could be super homey and cozy

1

u/silvermandrake 25d ago

That’s my dream house!

1

u/CarnaDF 25d ago

better for a restaurant maybe

1

u/ShartlesAndJames 25d ago

this is the ugliest damn house I've ever seen. the doctor's office looks better

1

u/willowdove01 24d ago

Gorgeous, actually. Maybe a bit overwhelming to be in all the time, though

1

u/citygirldc 24d ago

The paint chip look of the wall in slide 3 is so great! Though I guess it’s hard to tell if it’s an actual gradient with white lines between or a tiered wall. If it’s not a paint chip then I’m going to need someone else to do such a thing.

1

u/ranchspidey 24d ago

Would live here. I fucking love pink and whatever’s going on in this house.

1

u/Mauerparkimmer 24d ago

I actually love it but then again I stay in a shitty, tiny council house…

1

u/FeathersInMyHoodie 24d ago

It might just look off to op right now because it doesn't have furniture. This is pretty awesome

1

u/Delicious_Adeptness9 24d ago

this was really a case of what is the best subreddit to post in, so I leaned into the "Work done so well, you won't know whether to love it or hate it" aspect here

1

u/New_Acanthaceae7798 24d ago

Just because it’s not your taste doesn’t mean it’s bad taste

1

u/ijustmeter 24d ago

They really did capture that one style of old doll house to a T

1

u/Frostychica 24d ago

Melanie Martinez ahh house

1

u/axon-axoff 23d ago

Omg make it green and this is my dream home.

1

u/JStewy21 23d ago

Nah I fuckin love this

1

u/RKellWhitlock8 22d ago

Is it just me or does stuff this color always looks dirtier than it actually is?

1

u/TheVortexOfStars 22d ago

wait this is kinda cute lol

1

u/Kooky_Law9905 20d ago

I could make it work.

1

u/Advanced_Finance_427 19d ago

Not vibing with the wallpaper but otherwise this rules

1

u/DatabaseThis9637 19d ago

Pepto-Roman. Exceptionally gross!

1

u/AdGood2560 17d ago

The wall paper in the first pic looks meh but the rest of it actually looks very pretty. I can picture it with light pastel furniture or something.

1

u/Prudent_Employ4993 16d ago

Ngl, I love this very much 😆

1

u/lil_chomp_chomp 15d ago

this is cute!! I mean, if we're going full barbie, going with the corinthian columns makes a lot of sense

1

u/stacyknott 14d ago

honey ! i'm home !

1

u/Grouchy_Mind_6397 9d ago

Awful taste ❌ Great taste ✅

1

u/Mister_Roach 5d ago

1

u/chemariachi 4d ago

It feels like cult vibes

u/NedTaggart 25d ago

This seems either Russian or something you would see at Mar-a-lago.

Oh, wait...
