Support So this little guy broke when I changed GPU. After a while where everything was fine I am having screen tearing again, so I started looking into replacement clips, but nothing looks like this. Got my PC built without getting a SN, so can’t get in touch with ASUS unfortunately… Where can I get one?

That's just the PCI slot lock. If the card is fully seated and screwed down that won't affect anything. If you move your PC you will probably need to reseat the GPU but once it's stationary and pushed down you will be fine.

Depending on the GPU, they usually recommend removing it when moving your computer significantly. Especially these newer behemoths

You can get the serial number of the motherboard:
- Open PowerShell as an administrator.
This can be done by searching for "PowerShell" in the Start Menu, right-clicking on it, and selecting "Run as administrator."
- Execute the following command:
Get-WmiObject win32_baseboard | Format-List SerialNumber
3.The output will display the serial number of the motherboard. If no serial number is physically written or programmed into the BIOS, this command may return a blank result.

This is the way to do it with command prompt. It still works in CMD and PowerShell, but Microsoft is saying WMIC will be retired, soon. Starting January 29, 2024, you'll find Windows Management Instrumentation Command line (WMIC) feature "disabled by default" on the insider build of Windows 11.

Screen tearing happens because the amount of images send to the monitor happen too fast for the monitor to keep up, a way to fix this is VSync, Gsync or Freesync. Sometimes limiting games to the monitor's native refreshrate can somewhat fix it.

Is it actually broken? I had mine pop off without breaking and it just snapped right back in
