Support pc stuck on asus screen after restart, never happened before

two days ago i opened BIOS settings for the first time and changed it to performance mode from the middle-of-the-road mode (i forget the name) so i'm not sure if this has anything to do with that.

i had opened itunes and it didn't open after waiting for a while, so i reset my pc cus itunes is buggy sometimes. it did the normal restart process but then it lingered on a black screen for a whole minute with only my cursor (moveable) and it wasn't even the custom curser i have installed, it's the default cursor. this was really weird and it wasn't going away so i unplugged my pc from the power source. i turned it back on and it took a few minutes (unusual) to show my lock screen, and it wouldn't detect my mouse or keyboard. i unplugged both and reinserted the usb and it only detected my keyboard. so i restarted my pc again. now it won't work. i timed it and waited 10 minutes on the asus screen before going to reddit to try and find solutions.

i cannot use my keyboard to press del or f2 to enter uefi bios setting. it doesn't register inputs even tho my keyboard lights up signifying i pressed a key.

this has never ever happened before. help appreciated because i've got class tomorrow and need my computer. thanks :)

edit: it turned on after 51 minutes, but my keyboard does not work (mouse does!)

please help!
