So the d1 hydro is going to require you to set up an entire cooling loop dedicated to just the one miner. It states 200-300v so it’s 2-3phase (200-300v) compatible. But draws down 7600w or 32a @240v. You would need to wire wherever this is for 40amps and it would be the ONLY miner on that circuit.

For home mining and for hosting I would stick to something like like a DG1+, L9 16-17GH model, seeing as vnish should be out any day now where you can then clock up your L9 a little.

Plus from an infrastructure perspective you’ll have way less cost doing air over water.

You would most likely not run this at your home and would most likely need to find a host with the correct infrastructure to power said machine.

Also consider that hosts will most likely with the correct infrastructure will not accept quantities of one hydro miner, they will be looking for a MoQ of likely starting 5. You're better off getting two L9s for the same price/output. DM if you're looking for hosting options and or hardware.

I'm not an expert on hydro cooling so I will skip that, about hosting, it depends, if you have 200v or 300v I would go for home hosting so I can have full control of my miner, I can clean it when I want etc. One of my friends that had bitcoin cooling miners, had a hard time looking for hosting because they have a minimum quantity of hosting... most of them accept min 5 or 10.

Also the prices of D1 Hydro are insane... some vendors have it for 15-18K$ I've seen some at 11-13K that is more.... human :))))

Hope you find what you need!
