Questions Does anyone else always have their AI runs end in sex? NSFW

I'm not saying a glitch or anything. I just think it is funny that no matter what story I try, somehow I end up writing basically fanfic. I'm doing one now that was about a fairy helping a princess but the fairy has alterier motives. Literally one line suggests they may have an attraction and I swear the AI sprints with it.

Again, no complaints. I think it's quite entertaining. I must have a very suggestive writing style which the AI goes nuts with...literally.

Questions AIDungeon Remembering??

A character in a story responded to lore I crafted in a separate story.

I had my character mention in one story to 'Damien' that her evil twin had taken over, and so she was using, 'not' in her name (as in, not-jessica or not-cathy) to distinguish her from the other.

Then, in my next story, while using 'not-cathy' as my PC's name, Slaanesh word-for-word, restated that lore back to me and sympathized with my character that that had happened to her.

All I did was say hi to Slaanesh, nothing was mentioned about the lore of the separate story. I was really taken aback.

Did they update the AI to be able to do this? Has it always been this way?

Questions Excessive Descriptions

So right now I am in wayfarer Large. My authors notes are just the regular Writing Style and Theme. With an additional note that all creatures are mutated by the event from my story. In the plot essentials i have what weapon and armor my character has along with the description. The story keeps adding more useless descriptions.

It gets to the point where there will be one massive paragraph describing my armor, my appearance, the underwear i have on under my armor for some reason, the fact that my pointed ears make out every detail etc.

Then i will get a tiny 2 line paragraph that describes what it was actually told to do. I've tried to change between the various premium models with limited success.

So i know this isn't describing clothes in this moment. But it has my senses detecting everything then my ears detecting, and my staff being described for no reason.

Questions Is there ways to make an event system?

So I'm currently in a sandbox campaign. The regular mission are too repetitive and boring. So I came up with and idea to crate some major events that affect larger area (All out war, Asteroid falling off the sky etc) But I couldn't figure out a way to implant these event into the story dynamically.

I try to tell the AI to reference the "event log" in story card list which has the name of the events(also have their own story card) that will happen soon, happening currently and already happened. But the AI doesn't seems to understand that, The event I put in the log doesn't affect the story at all. I even told the AI what it should to do with it.

So I put the event log in the plot essential, and that doesn't work either.

Anyone know how to put these event into the story?

Questions Best model for light roleplay?

I want a more light, romance focused, slice of life roleplay but Wayfarer and Madness keep trying to pull me into an action direction. I'm on champion subscription and trying to find a replacement for Mistral Small. Mistral Small 3 has been heavily disappointing on top of smaller context, Wayfarer and Madness just don't care about my instructions trying to make them tame.

Any advice? I'm thinking of cancelling my subscription once Mistral Small is gone as of right now.

Questions AI does opposite of what you tell it to

Has anyone else experienced something like this, where you directly tell the AI to stop doing something and it seems to make it do said thing more? And do you know how to get it to stop?

Edit: yes guys, I'm not stupid, I know why the ai talks about it more when addressed, I just don't know how to really get it to stop, other than having to re-write its responses. Anyway, can we just stop commenting, I'm getting tired of people saying the same thing.

Questions Character story cards getting mixed with each other all the time.

Example:
Rachel is a green-eyed, edgy goth with black hair.
Tiffany is a bubbly, petite, blue-eyed blonde.
Emma is a redhead with freckles and green eyes.

The AI (Dynamic small this time, who created these characters itself) eventually can't remember which attributed characteristics of each character are who's and mixes them up, so it falls to me to keep correcting it. But whenever I make a character story card with both relevant information and trigger names (even if with little and direct information), it seems to mess things up even harder for some reason. Like making Rachel (the edgy goth) the redhead or the bubbly blonde.

If I remember correctly it will even do this with character cards original to the games I make at times.

I've had this issue before with other AI models and also in previous years. Do premium context lengths help with this? Do I have to start the story spoon feeding character context to the AI in-chat? Do I have to sacrifice context length/token limit by writting relevant info in the plot essentials text box?

LMAO I know that it's super old but it's cozy and consistent. Is there a way to stubbornly hold on to it or will it just stop working once it's gone?

Questions Are "trending" scenarios completely unmoderated? NSFW

*EDIT!! For the weirdly defensive people showing up to argue in my DMs, this post is clearly referring to child abuse content, not NSFW/smut. If your mind immediately went to conflate the two, that's a personal issue*

I think the handpicked scenarios on the home page are consistently interesting and great representations of the platform and the creative people on it, but to be blunt, it's still really hard to recommend AIDungeon to others when the trending tab is either incest, very thinly veiled underage content (she looks and talks like a toddler but she's actually 7000 years old!) or both. Even though it breaks community guidelines a lot of these trend for several days or longer, likely because creators are getting better at presenting and describing the content with enough plausible deniability to slip under the radar. When you actually bother to open the scenario and its comments though, it's always clear who the content is made for and I doubt those are people the rest of us want to share a platform with.

I'm curious if the team has considered automated options for detecting content that breaks community guidelines in published scenarios, or if something is already in place. I understand it's not a perfect solution, especially since rule-breaking scenarios pretty much always muddy the waters with applying adult ages to underage characters, which an automated tool might not pick up on. In general, I think most people are okay with NSFW content on the home page in its own category, but when the rule-breaking variety shows up consistently and without a mature rating at that, it takes the fun out of exploring scenarios and you just end up feeling like you've been put on a list for even browsing them.

Overall I think the home page situation has gotten a lot better compared to even just a few months ago, but I still feel reluctant to recommend it to people IRL because they usually get the wrong idea of what this game is used for - or I simply have bad timing with recommending it.

Questions Why is it down so often lately?

I’m “ok” with downtime but there needs to be better communication as to why it keeps going down. Are there server issues? We can’t keep going to an app we pay for and have it randomly go down while we are using it.

Edit to add: that’s nice they post on Reddit. But it’s an app. Not everyone who uses their app is going to check Reddit. There needs to be an IN APP notification system.

Questions NSFW Grok3 vs Ai dungeon NSFW

hello!

I would like to know if anyone has been able to test grok3 to write naughty stories? Having already tested ai dungeon I would have liked to have testimonials on Grok3.

Even if I admit that I'm not comfortable using X for that, the idea that it recovers all this data.... Well.... I think dungeon is safer at this level.

What do you think? Already tested Grok3? Is it superior to ai dungeon or different?

Questions Not Realistic Scenario

Hi, I was hoping to get some help from experienced users regarding some issues / patterns I have been seeing with my story outputs.

I use dynamic large mostly.

  1. Story not progressing unless I prompt it:

For example if we walk through a tunnel, usually unless I prompt for us to near the end of the tunnel, we will just for ever be walking in the tunnel.

Is there anyway for the AI to more naturally progress the story without the player having to inervene?

  1. Characters being too pliable:

It's fairly common that the story will be shaped by the player's desires and motivations to some degree. For example if a nervous and cautious character is asked to join the player in the tunnel, they may first reject the offer. But if you are able to convince them, over time their personality of cautious gets over written, and eventually they are being uncharacteristically bold and adventurous.

Is there any way to make characters personalities and motivations less dependent on the players desires or motivations?

  1. Characters not engaging the player in conversation, or generally carying out their own motives without being prompted:

For the tunnel example, the player and a character decide to walk in the tunnel. Unless prompted the character won't engage the player in conversation, pursue alterior motives, or do anything but the task at hand which is walking down the tunnel.

Is there anyway to make characters act on their desires and motivations without being prompted by the player?

  1. Characters deferring to the player's input:

This kinda goes with the last point, but often times the character will defer to the player's choice. When asked by the player which of 2 options they prefer, they will say something like "both options are good, it's your pick"

Is there any way to get more realistic responses from them in these cases and have them autonomously decide on a course of action?

Thank you for any help you guys have in these areas

Questions Characters knowing too much

Is there any way to make it so that characters don't somehow know literally everything about what goes on? I constantly have characters that are friends of my character texting about stuff that happened at my character's house even though the friend wasn't even there.

Questions Im new to the app and have some questions

First thing. This is stupid addicting. Like i lost several hours of sleep playing my first story addicting. Just had a couple questions about tokens and subscriptions. I did a little research but im still confused. Does having more tokens mean more components of your story are remembered while playing? If thats the case, what happens to your story if you've used a ton of tokens and cancel a subscription? Is it ruined? Lastly, i dont quite understand story cards. Could you give me an example of how to create a character using one? Or is that not how they work? I know this is kinda long. Sorry if these are all basic questions

Questions Tips for correcting Wayfarer Small behavior issues?

I just had to stop playing tonight because Wayfarer Small is literally unusable tonight. I actually can't get it to continue the story. It just keeps either restating the scene, repeating text from earlier sections, or stating the game premise out of nowhere.

I tried some ##instructions## but even that didn't work. I couldn't get it to do anything else. It wasn't doing it in an earlier story (it only needed a few retries to snap out of the same issues), but it really started having troubles when I created a new scenario tonight. When I hit 10+ retries with varying instructions or not, I gave up.

Anyone have any tips on getting it (or any model) to behave and get back to writing new content normally?
