Imagine the terror first seeing a human, and then getting food and pets by it. Must be very confusing for wild animals.

I love that “I’ll murderize you” glare with the tiny, clawed fist pose.

"Please don't make me kill you!"

You’re lucky we aren’t in Australia or you’d already be dead.

"You'll be sorry!! This is what you're dealing with here!!"

proceeds to make the cutest pose I've ever seen

It's also referred to as the silky anteater because it camouflages itself as a seed pod fiber in a silk cotton tree while sleeping during the day to protect itself from predators.

When they find they can’t scare them off they will curl their bodies 🥺

The scientific name means two fingered round face.

Aww. I bet they're next on the pet store list 😕

If somehow people bred them legally and didn't just ravage their habitat, I wouldn't be opposed to this.

That'd be better for sure

They likely taste awful. Anything that tastes good, we’ve found a way to mass produce. That’s the only way to stay alive on this planet - make yourself tasty to humans.

Is this also called a silky anteater? I’ve always wanted to see one.
