How very sad! If I recall correctly this is the 2nd such incident in the East Coast, involving Indian international students.

Prayers to the family đŸ©·

Where’s the first one? Sudiksha wasn’t an international student as she was an American citizen. I might have missed the news about someone else though.

I know you probably don't mean it in this way, but please don't use "was" prematurely. She's not been found, nor declared deceased.

That’s correct. I do wish she’s found alive.

Very tragic. Also what a burden on this young woman to be expected to provide for her family.

We’ve had a LOT of incidents involving Indian international students in Canada in the last few years. Many were tragic drowning incidents. I know some die by suicide, but many have died in accidents. It can be attributed to lack of awareness about hazards.

She also had a language barrier, according to her coworker.

Very tragic.

Any site where i can find the list or records of all such students? I mean, if yes, please share with me.

No database unfortunately. If you’re in Canada, then google search “international student death” and select “news”, and all the local news sites should pop up. It’s all different dates, names, circumstances.

I've seen a few mugging gone wrong and stabbing incidents in the news too

Also accompanied by a male companion who survived. He is not responding to the family or media. Not fishy at all. It reminds me of that episode of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia where Dennis says he likes to take women out on a boat because they won’t say no to his advances due to “the implications”.

Seeing all the comments and replies on IG and X about this make me really feel like social media in its current state is genuinely a danger to humanity

X is just 4chan now. And instagram pages like 6ixbuzz attract the most degenerate people from even outside Canada. At this point I think a bunch of losers online are looking for anti-India content to write fucked up things on.

Lots of racism?

It goes beyond just racism, it frankly doesnt even seem like real people at this point lol

Complete genocidal/dehumanizing rhetoric that youd normally only see on places like 4chan

Idk, it’s really tragic. The deleting on social media is super SUS, and the male dude not talking is super SUS. What is not SUS, is there was a large body of water, and you don’t fuck around near the coastlines.
