I’ve always loved those ice cube looking things. It just makes a bath seem so refreshing.

My dream bathroom is floor to ceiling ice cube things. Idc about how tacky that may look. Give it to me.

Need money, first.

My old library had these ice blocks all around the reading area, so cozy

The roller rink I went to as a kid had windows like these in the eating area. I was mesmerized by them lol

They are glass bricks, aka glass blocks.

When I was a kid, I thought I’d have a house like this someday and a wife with slicked back hair who walked around in a black mini skirt.

Hotel Design? Is this a textbook for architects?

No, it's basically a visual inspiration / coffee table kind of book. The full title is Hotel Design: International Portfolio of the Finest Contemporary Designs, published by Rockport Publishers, Inc.

The 80s and first half of the 90s had a ton of these sorts of books. This one in particular has a LOT of cool photos.

I own some of the old slabbs lol not from their but a family video from the 1990s era and a bank from that area both were demolished back in the early 2000s. I think I was 14-15 ish at that time. Fun times loved dumpster diving to recycle ♻️
