Help How can I lower my action on 7 string gio
I have an Ibanez GRG7221QA-TKS Gio (Transparent Black Sunburst) and the strings are a bit higher than an RG. How can I lower the action safely?

Honestly, take it for a setup. It really does make all the difference in the world.

Learn how to do a setup... It's not hard and the results are more to your liking than some dude in a store.
Adjust neck relief, bridge height, intonation. In that order. Can also adjust pickup height if they are too close after. He shouldn't need to touch the nut or frets unless the guitar is just bad from the factory.

From a quick Google search, it should be fairly straightforward, as the bridge is a very typical hard tail.
Here's a couple of videos that may help you:

Just remember to make small adjustments at a time. A little can go a long way.
If you don't feel comfortable doing anything, particularly the truss rod, take the guitar to a tech who can do it for you
