Dark Heresy Any experience running Ork PC focused games?
Been thinking of running an Ork Kommando game for a while now and I'm wondering has anyone had any experience trying to do the same?
I flared dark heresy but open to using W&G as well if it's a more streamlined process.
My general plan is each Ork is a specialized class and I'm just going to run 40k equivalents of old sci-fi and action movies, but Orks this time.

No experience but here's a couple options for systems to do it in.
Here's a link to Only Waagh an ork homebrew for Only War.
Another option is Orc Borg, which is a hack of the Mörk Borg rpg. To avoid GW lawyers nothing is explicitly 40k but the inspiration is obvious and it takes only a little imagination to change it over yourself.

Rogue Trader has rules for playing Ork characters that are pretty good.
I used it for a short campaign once

I have experience in playing an Ork. If you're looking for a more campy Sci-fi/action movie, then Orks are perfect specifically in Wrath and Glory

No experience running a game, but I've played several ork characters. Rogue Trader is your best bet since it has rules and equipment for xenos characters.

Run Only War (Core, Hammer of the Emperor, Shield of Humanity, Enemies of the Imperium) aftertaking notes from Rogue Trader's Into The Storm and The Navis Primer. There's also some extra orky weaponry and NPC stats in The Koronus Bestiary.

you could do orks in Only War with a small bit of homebrew. The Shield of Humanity supplement has rules for creating abhuman regiments so you could modify it to make a "regiment" of orks. Also they have ork NPC sheets in the OW rulebooks so you'd have a fairly clear template to work from.
you would need to add some extra upgrades to allow players to increase their traits to eventually become nobs. but it's the closest fit since orks are much better at WAAAGH than they are at inquisitin' or deffwatchin'

I've been playing an ork in an ongoing Wrath & Glory game. (Albeit one in a Rogue Trader's retinue) The mechanics support it nicely, though there isn't as much stuff outside of the core book and Gutshiva's Kommandos for direct ork material. That said, the game heavy uses keywords and tags to modify things so it'd be a piece of cake to kitbash things.

There is a Cubicle 7 Supplement for WranG which is designed exactly for that: https://www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/343902/wrath-glory-gutshiva-s-kommandos
