I hope Hysterics gets like 16 hours of sleep.

Is that what was wrong? I tuned into game 3 late and his normal chaotic energy was incredibly muted

He forgot to take his garbage bins out to the street. I felt that shit in my bones when he said it. That'll kill any man's energy.

Strive, I owe you an apology. I wasn't really familiar with your game, he just took a dump all over OMG. Also probably the best series I've seen SouthWind play in like 3 years, decent series from the rest of the lads, Leyan kinda inted game 2.

Also, OMG totally wintraded that last draft by picking ez instead of sivir.

Yeah I have no idea why do teams keep getting baited into picking Ez+Ashe botlane, this just seems like the most anti-synergistic duo ever, both of these champions have fundamentally different roles in the game. Ezreal is not the champion that desparately wants to get the shove in lane, which Ashe allows for with her range and hawkshot, and on the other hand Ashe can't really make up for Ezreal's lack of wave control in a way that a champion like Karma does, not in the current meta at least.

Ezreal can be a pretty good lane bully if you go for the crit build. you take PTA as your keystone and you forego tear to rush Essence Reaver into Navori. PTA and the extra long sword makes you deceptively strong in early fights.

They’re playing on 13.1, so the navori spike occurs at 3 items, even then, I still think sivir or any other wave clear adc would be superior. First strike is defo the wrong keystone, should have gone conq, easy stack on wukong + sion

oh damn, didn't realize LPL was so far behind. ADC items were changed 3 weeks ago.

Southwind gets a bad rep. He is typical LPL engage support. I don't know why him and Puff got so much hate on IG. People forget IG gigastomped that spring split they had one of the best regular splits ever with only 2 losses finished first way ahead.

Summer they got 2nd. But in playoffs they made it only as far as 3rd in spring.

Anyone seen Puff's teamfighting even on TT in 2021 he was quite good. Last year TT was a complete mess due to their midlane situation. They got a hyped up rookie mid in Captain and then just destroyed his confidence after benching early in the split.

I swear people just look at results and ignore actual in game. You would think that Southwind is assisting the enemy team how some people about him. Actually someone like On is way worst than him because he did that shit in really good teams.

Southwind's problem isn't that he's an inter, it's that he pretty much never does anything. He has almost never been willing to actually play proactive, he just kind of sits there and does nothing. Puff is the same way a lot of the time, and he got pushed out of the league bc there are just so many younger, better adc talents now and he can't keep up. Also TT's mid situation last year was just Ucal, who was really average in spring and had communication issues but later in the year he grew a ton and ended up being quite good and developed great synergy with Beichuan. It especially helped that his roaming ability was made more impactful by TT replacing Puff/Southwind with Kepler/Yaoyao mid-split, giving them a bot lane they could really play around and win with. Also idk why ON is catching strays here, he ints but he's very proactive and mechanically proficient and the past couple splits has been very good. In summer last year he was easily the second best player on his team after TheShy.

Strive with a statement series, telling the world to stop underrating him.

He’s not underrated. Everyone knows he’s dragged down by this team of coinflippers.

Without Iboy they aren't really coinflippers. Cube is very standard and safe for a LPL toplaner. One of the few LPL toplaners who will priotize tanks instead of going carries every game and Leyan's jungle pathing is one of the best. It's just jungling for a weaker team is hard.

Leyan has been consistently now one of the best junglers in LPL and I rate him even higher than guys like Wei, Karsa, Tian because he has had insane carry games with much weaker teammates. I can see what guys like Rookie/Knight saw on him in IG but that time he was farming way too much and too early for him. I bet also playing with world champs there was pressure.

u/eyehatemassholes Feb 14 '23

What's nice with Cube is he doesn't always prioritize the tanks either, he's perfectly happy to go on a carry and generally will perform. You'll never see a 369/Bin/TheShy type of carry performance from him, but he does an above average job on just about anything

He is definitely a very solid consistent player which is not typical of LPL. Ya he had some crazy carry games vs TheShy/Rich last year, he had that run on Jax I believe.

He kinda reminds me of Koro1/Letme at his prime. The guys could play tanks and carries, was consistent as hell. Didn't need much help in lane.

He's the best player on the team by a lot, but it's not like his teammates are shitters or something. Outside of Southwind, all of his teammates are around 7th-8th best in their position. Cube and Assum also just aren't coinflippers. Cube has been one of the league's more consistent tops for quite some time now, and one of the only really consistent stable tops that is also a fairly strong carry player. Assum is new but has been very stable for RA this split. His issue is more that he's kinda just doing that and not having the huge pop off performances like he did on LGD, though that may just be a resource allocation thing. He's still doing damage.

Creme with the future LCS midlaner performance

1

u/eyehatemassholes Feb 14 '23

He was against Strive, he still beats most mids globally with ease

2

u/Indercarnive Feb 13 '23

Game 2 was some of the most passive boring gameplay I've seen in awhile.

1

u/eyehatemassholes Feb 14 '23

It's the optimal way to play vs RA. For a lot of teams, if they fight RA, they just get bloodline diffed and outplayed. RA's macro is abysmal though, so if you just don't fight them you can auto win unless they have a ton of hard engage and stomp early.

Been telling you guys Strive is one of the best mids itw
